New England is filled with lovely barns in the countryside, but The Barn at Pickering House is a rare example of a 19th century barn set in the heart of town. Located just a short walk from Lake Winnipesaukee and the shops and restaurants of downtown Wolfeboro, The Barn at Pickering House offers the charm of an antique barn, the convenience of an in-town location, and a touch of luxury for the comfort of today’s guests.

The Barn provides 40’ x 60’ of open space with haylofts, accommodating up to 150 people for a sit-down event.  A built-in bar, heating and air-conditioning, and interior ADA-compliant bathrooms set The Barn at Pickering House apart from more rustic barn venues. It is the ideal spot for luxury weddings, family reunions, anniversary parties, business retreats and other gatherings. It is also the home for many of our Pickering House Events.
