THE PICKERING EXPERIENCE
Accommodations in historic properties are often filled with charm but sacrifice some modern comforts. Not at Pickering House Inn. Our extensive renovation ensured that we offer both — a luxury experience in a lovely historic property.
Our ten spacious guest rooms each have distinct personalities, unique décor and surprising touches. All rooms feature upscale amenities such as luxurious bathrooms, top-of-the-line mattresses and linens, and individually controlled heat and AC. Although bustling Lake Winnipesaukee and downtown Wolfeboro are right outside the Inn’s front door, the extra steps we took throughout our renovation ensure that each guest room is a quiet haven.
The Pickering House experience includes a daily gourmet breakfast in Pickering’s Kitchen and light snacks at refreshment stations located throughout the Inn. We go well beyond a traditional bed and breakfast-style experience to include add-on options such as wine, beer or sipping spirits; priority dinner reservations at PAVILION*; frequent event dinners in Pickering’s Kitchen (our gathering kitchen) or The Barn at Pickering House; and special events such as guest chef dinners, wine and spirit tastings, art workshops and more.
