Barn Dinners and Special Events
Hosted in The Barn at Pickering House, we schedule community dinner events thoughout the year. Varied menus and style such as our Inn Keepers Suppers, various Tasting Dinners with Wine, Beers and / or creative cocktails, and sometimes, our demonstration dinners (held the the Gathering Kitchen of the Inn).

Please join us Wednesday, January 19th we are hosting a Wine Dinner featuring the culinary creations of Pavilion Executive Chef, Jonathan Hudak paired with the wines of the Hope Family Vineyards of California. Both Jonathan and Frances Bugbee – Regional Manager of Hope Family Wines will be with us as we explore an amazing selection of flavors at this evening event.

Join us! Saturday, February 17th we are hosting a Pickering Barn Dinner to celebrate Valentine's Day! The menu for this event is featuring the culinary creations of Chef Suzanne Trice of Sweetwater Kitchen. This farm to table dinner is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine's Day and tickets are sure to go quickly. Tickets will be going on sale soon and below is the menu for this event:
Oysters with Pickled Strawberry, Champagne Vinegar and Ginger Mignonette Sauce
Parker House rolls with whipped honey butter
Mixed greens with strawberries, chocolate raspberry vinaigrette, goat cheese and spiced cocoa nut brittle
Slow Roasted Chateaubriand with Shallot Herb Butter Poached Shrimp and Herb Parmesan Aioli, Roasted Asparagus and Potatoes
